The SCA University of Theology and Spirituality (UTS) is a center for higher learning that educates and assists in the development of forward-thinking leaders and practitioners of spiritual care. We are a progressive, interdenominational, interfaith, and inter-spiritual institution. We distinguish ourselves from traditional seminaries, and theological learning institutions by offering a curriculum that is centered around spiritual care rather than a specific denomination or faith tradition focus. All courses are designed to assist busy professionals by offering accessible, online courses that work around their schedules and from their location.

Our Spiritual Care degree focus allows professional care providers to expand their education to include working with a person’s spiritual needs as well as the biological, psychological, and sociological needs. It is designed for the multidisciplinary pastor, spiritual director, minister, clergy, chaplain and the others who would like to expand their knowledge base and skill set in the area.

Our Spiritual Direction degrees provide training for new individuals starting out in the field, as well as allowing for experienced professionals to expand their education to include a degree. It is interfaith, and multifaith in scope and practice.
